Adam's New Hat

I made Swell from for Adam. I subbed handspun alpaca for the Cascade wool the pattern calls for. My gauge was a few stitches and a few rows off, but somehow the hat turned out perfect! I didn't add any stitches, but I did add about 8 rows. I probably would have had to have done that anyway because Adam has what is commonly known as a large head. Without further ado, here is my first venture into beautiful alpaca and stranding work.

Hey Ashley, it's Chris, your friendly Crumbs barista. I like the design of this hat, as well as the color combination. I looked at the website at the design, and saw that the original has a peace sign in the ear flap. I am not sure if you included that on Adam's hat or not, it's hard to tell from the pictures. If you did, I have created my own design to put on those flaps instead of the peace sign. Let me know if it is okay to have my own creation on those flaps. Thanks.
